Job Description:

This position is responsible for the financial support, management and reporting for the Robotics Business Unit forming part of the Intelligence and Cyber International Division within L3Harris Space and Airborne Segment. The BU manages a number of delivery and support programs domestically and internationally, comprising a mix of Engineering development, product management and delivery, ILS and ongoing sparing and maintenance. As such the role demands execution across a broad set of financial disciplines.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides all necessary aspects of business partnering and support to the Robotics business

  • Drive and maintain adherence to all internal reporting requirements for the BU, covering all aspects of financial performance and forecasting

  • Manage the process of financial program support, control and governance across the portfolio of programs Internationally

  • Manage the financial resource to ensure all program finance support is maintained efficiently, supporting all aspects of financial management and reporting

  • Provide all necessary financial support, guidance and stewardship of bid activity through the gated process of the business

  • Work with the Division Controller to ensure compliance with all internal financial and accounting policies

  • Responsible for the overall governance of the BU as evidenced through the quarterly representation process

  • Provides financial support, guidance and input for e3 and related efficiency programs, reporting on outcomes and providing the understanding on overall impact against financial targets

  • Ownership and reporting of the financial aspects relating to the JSP activities for the Robotics BU

  • Work as part of the senior leadership team to develop and implement business processes to create and maintain metrics supporting a product model

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior program finance experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Acquisition Regulations and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)

  • Experience in program finance, accounting, or financial planning

  • Experience with PeopleSoft & PeopleSoft queries, Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Demonstrated proficiency with business financial management techniques including government and commercial contracts, earned value analysis, cost analysis, financial planning, cash flow, progress payments and billing milestones

  • Expert level knowledge of Earned Value and EVMS highly desired

  • Advanced experience with Excel and other MS OFFICE tools

  • Experience with Deltek Cobra, Peoplesoft and Hyperion is a plus

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships, earn trust, and thrive in an inclusive environment

  • DoD contractor experience preferred

  • Security Clearance or the ability to attain one
