ManpowerGroup 1st shift - Maintenance Tech in Pacific, Missouri

WASHINGTON MO!

A titanium manufacturer here in Washington MO is looking for a Maintenance Tech.

Rotating 1st shift: 6am-6pm (OT as required)

Week 1: Sun-Wed / Wk 2: Sun-Thurs

Salary dependent on experience ($20-35)

The Maintenance Tech will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical, electronic, PLCs, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment (such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling systems, automated lubrication systems, grinders, hydraulic hot forming presses, and support equipment). Initiate improvements and permanent corrective actions requiring electromechanical layout and installation. Serve as a collaborative resource for the maintenance staff, managers, supervisors, and engineers. Must have a general knowledge of electrical, pneumatice, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance. Must be self-motivated and able to work under time constraints to meet production needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus

  • A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license

  • Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code

  • Ability to read and interpret manuals; knowledge of math and measuring instruments.

  • Familiarity with equipment maintenance, HVAC, hydraulic systems, plumbing, electronic diagnostics, and fabrication (welding, grinding).

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Bigfoot CMMS.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and teamwork ability.

  • Obtain and maintain forklift and man lift/crane authorization.

  • Capable of climbing ladders (up to 25 feet), standing, crouching, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.

  • Complete first responder training; ability to enter confined spaces and walk on uneven surfaces.

Candidates should demonstrate technical knowledge, urgency, and adaptability.
