Insight Global Utility Systems Manager Oxford, Ohio

Job Description

The position is directly responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the steam plant, generating plant, and associated distribution via the utility tunnels and underground piping to campus facilities. This person would be a part of a team of 10, overseeing a team of 5 stationary engineers. The position requires managing personnel, budgetary planning, creation and implementation of short and long-term capital and operational improvements, assisting with contract negotiations, and conducting continuous system monitoring to ensure efficient operation of plant systems. The ideal candidate would hopefully grow with the university and contribute to the design process as they transition towards hydronics in the coming years.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor degree in engineering or related degree with 5 years of experience in facility or plant management, including expertise in steam production and equipment maintenance OR Associate degree in engineering or related degree with 7 years of experience in facility or plant management, including expertise in steam production and equipment maintenance OR 10 years of experience in facility or plant management, including expertise in steam production and equipment maintenance

Possess Drivers license.

Knowledge of the operation of steam boilers and hot water boiler system equipment · Class Three Stationary Engineers License in State of Ohio null
