Role Summary

Manages the life cycle for a portfolio of complex products and value-add offers that engage and deliver value to the client(s) within an assigned business unit. Makes recommendations on the strategy for those products and offers to management and senior staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops offer road maps and business cases, frames the organization's competitive positioning, and establishes the economics of standard offers. Maps the vision of the offer and the deliverables necessary to make it successful. Uses data and analysis from more junior staff to understand how to invest and grow offers.

  • Advises stakeholders on approaches to improve existing offers and develops new offers based on specialized knowledge of industry trends. Serves as the product owner and leads an internal team to build and test prototypes, obtains feedback from sales and end users, maintains product backlogs, holds regular meetings with stakeholders, and manages the product road map for complex products/offers.

  • Manages the process of taking new offers to market and getting approval from legal and other internal functions; gets buy-in from client-facing associates and sales to deliver the go-to-market plan.

  • Reviews and interprets market assessment scans; prepares recommendations for growth opportunities, pricing strategies, and overall competitive positioning. As a skilled communicator, influences business and functional leaders to adopt recommendations.

  • Makes recommendations on which key performance indicators/measurements should be recorded to measure offer effectiveness, and uses analysis done by lower-level staff to create reports that can be used to update management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in Retirement Plan Recordkeeping services

  • Prior experience in Offer/Product Management

  • Familiarity with investment product structures commonly utilized in Retirement plans (e.g. CITs, Mutual Funds, Stable Value Trust Products)

  • Prior experience with Financial Advisor based service and sales models

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for full time remote work.

Regional Requirements:

$ 116,500 - $199,000 USD for the locations of: Colorado and the State of Washington

$ 146,000 - $248,000 USD for the locations of: California and New York

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
