About The Role:

Lead Analyst Fixed Income, will have a deep understanding and expertise of fixed income securities, characteristics and attribution. Would need to be able to confidently explain performance and attribution results with key stakeholders including Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts and Client Reporting, among others .

Role Summary:

Provides in-depth technical and broad subject matter expertise over Fixed Income related processes and platforms. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy in performance and attribution data generated by the Fixed Income Attribution platform. Leading strategic fixed income transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of the end-to-end process of fixed-income attribution analysis. This includes transaction loading to vendor platform, security mapping, return and attribution reconciliation and interpretation of results.

  • Responsible for analyzing and defining business issues, opportunities, and enhancements and implementing solutions to improve reporting processes and technology surrounding our fixed income attribution platform. Leads complex projects to improve existing processes within the organization.

  • Utilizes knowledge and broad expertise to recommend and design solutions to complex business problems. Assists with the development and testing of our fixed income attribution platforms.

  • Analyzes and reviews business requirements for complex projects. Leads work to determine feasibility of work and develops and manages project documentation, proposals, and business requirements and makes recommendation to managers and business partners based on findings.

  • Serves as an escalation point for any issues or questions that arise from a systems or business process perspective. Responsible for managing relationships with affected parties on progress or issues to ensure deadlines and expectations are met. This would include understanding the end-to-end process of fixed-income attribution analysis

  • Responsible for using sound business judgment, technical knowledge, and project management experience in order to navigate institutional business lines, exercising influence and persuasion where appropriate.

  • Working with portfolio management and quantitative teams to explain attribution results and ensure models align with portfolio management.

    Typical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 10+ years of total relevant work experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working towards completion or have completed CIPM, CFA or other relatable professional designation

  • Strong understanding of Bloomberg PORT and FactSet

  • Deep understanding of the various fixed income attribution models

  • Understanding of the various sources of return within each fixed income strategy.

  • Advanced technical skills with Excel

  • Intermediate+ skill with SQL

    FINRA Requirements: FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

    Work Flexibility: This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week (On-site days-Tues/Wed/Thurs, Remote days-Mon/Fri).
