Job Description

As a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Plant Controlling Team, you will report to the Controlling Director and be part of the Team who are responsible for the following:

  • Business partner for the following areas: Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, Warehouse/Distribution, Engineering, Quality, and Service. 

  • Daily and annual costing of materials.

  • Annual cost center planning and forecasts and analyses of variances.

  • Master data maintenance.

  • Analyses of material and plant variances.

  • Inventory valuation calculations, analysis and accruals.

  • Stocktaking which includes inventory cycle count monitoring, annual stocktaking of production stock areas, and fixed assets.

  • Investment planning and justification.

  • Fixed asset project creation and investment analysis tracking as well as sales/disposals.

  • Month end plant result analyses, accruals, reserves, and account reconciliation.

  • SAP testing for new process and/or upgrades.

  • Skillful participation and leadership in many cross functional projects is critical.

  • Advise and actively participate with plant leadership team regarding steering of plant KPI’s.

  • Team works in a Hybrid model of work from home and on-site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting, or equivalent experience in the field required.

  • 5+ years Plant Controlling Experience

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & SAP

  • Knowledge and experience in Access and Power BI

  • Analytical mindset

  • Communication skills and mindset for working on cross functional Teams.
