With over 45 plants across North America, the Owatonna, MN, USA plant is a part of our Dry Beverage division and specializes in agglomeration and/or coating of nutraceuticals and functional food ingredients in some of your favorite dietary supplements and drinks. What You'll Do:

The SeniorProduction Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the production schedule for processing products to meet established product quality specifications and packaging requirements while ensuring compliance to safety, environmental and regulatory policies.You'll increase your expertise in f ermentation, cultures harvesting, dry blend, liquid receiving & filtration & evaporation, packaging and other process streams by understanding & coordinating the equipment operation, procedures, SQF, HACCP, GMP, Safety, sanitation, preventative maintenance programs and personnel capabilities.

You'll promote a team culture as you:

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Perform shift review of production to ensure accuracy and assist with production planning.

  • Provide support and coach/mentor employees while trouble shooting deviations to mitigate future occurrence.

  • Supports management with changes and assists where necessary.

  • Ensure GMP standards for Food and People safety and Kerry Policies.

  • Support the SQF Food Safety and Quality System by implementing and following procedures, conducting and/or participating in GMP inspections, internal audits, management reviews and training.

  • Demonstrate success in developing/implementing continuous improvement initiatives and accountability programs.

  • Responsible for the scheduling and timekeeping of all production personnel.

  • Flexibility to support needs is appreciated (15% may need to flex hours).

    We Offer a 4 Day Work Week, 6:AM - 4:30 PM, 15% may stay until 5 or 5:30 to transition shifts, Monday-Thursday. Overtime on Friday is Usually Voluntary

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external customers, technical savvy, use of MS products and SAP, the ability to type, multi-task, organize, prioritize tasks, work independently, identify problem areas and potential solutions. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management skills. An understand production processes and the causes of variances in production data.

Additional Factors:

  • A four-year degree preferred in food technology or business

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing plant or related industry.

  • Leadership experience.

  • Experience with SAP is preferred.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
