Summary

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and sales force with CRM management, developing new/existing business, national retail data management, promotional program development / management and ad-hoc support / analysis activities.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• CRM management and support via Salesforce technology platform.

• Develop and manage production and vendor information via national retailer required technologies.

• Promotion design, communication and implementation.

• Conducts timely research and analysis as required.

• Assists Account Coordinators with order entry, late shipment callbacks, reschedule orders, and other support functions as needed during peak order occurrences.

• Represent company at industry events & trade shows.

• Processes co-op claims and bill-backs.

• Trade spend tracking & reporting.

• Support of sales team master data entry and accuracy.

• Coordination of new hire (sales) orientations and onboarding.

• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience and 4 – 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferred

• Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field or equivalent education and work experience. A concentration in sales/marketing is preferred.

• 3-5 years working experience in outside sales, marketing or financial analysis.
