ER, Urgent Care DVM

Ottawa Veterinary Hospita l, supporting the community with urgent animal care in the Ottawa region, is growing and welcomes Veterinarians to join us! As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team, to provide the best care possible. We are dedicated to your continuous learning and offer extensive in-house resources. Requirements:

• A valid full DVM, Veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada

• Minimum 2 years experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

• Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

• A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

• An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

• A love for all companion animals!!

Schedules:

• available for rotation schedules, including evenings and weekend overnights.

• ER services operate 24 hours Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays , and until midnight the remainder of weekdays

• Full-time, Part-time, casual opportunities
