Job Description

Location: Ottawa, ON

Working inside a Factory Service Center, this position is responsible for repairing different types of portable power tools within the Milwaukee brand. The position requires an individual to be able to follow a standardized repair process which would include the diagnosing / troubleshooting of the tool failure, identifying a solution and repairing the product.

Set in a team environment, the position is fast paced and challenging where a successful candidate would need to possess strong time management skills, able to complete tasks correctly in a timely manner and work efficiently to produce results. On-the-job training is provided on more specialized products along with competitive wage and incentives tied to performance.

What You Will Do

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality of materials.

  • Organize and store materials and products in designated locations.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records.

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or general labour an asset.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks) safely; certification is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50+lbs).

  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (50+lbs).

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (Seasonally).
