Outline

Senior Product manager, Multiple Myeloma Marketing, is responsible for strategic planning and execution activities in multiple myeloma (MM) therapeutic area in collaboration with multiple stake holders in Japan and worldwide matrix.

The key objective of the role is to achieve business goals for BMS assets and expand BMS position in MM therapeutic area. In addition, this role is highly expected to take the lead of new product launches in MM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and execute the brand strategy in MM therapeutic area, including operational plans to optimize the sales and revenue for further short and mid-term growth

  • Lead developing launch plan of future pipeline assets in Hematology area, while taking advantage of existing portfolio

  • Work closely with Sales organization and Cross-functional team (e.g. Medical, Digital Marketing, Omni-Channel) to develop customer-centric marketing strategies and tactical operational plans that differentiate our products in competition, and provide MRs with the necessary tools to exceed customer expectations

  • Manage operational budget/OPEX effectively and monitor product performance based on internal KPIs, competitive environment, and customer behaviors

  • Identify emerging issues / market changes, take agile actions to counteract them, adjust / fine tune execution and manage internal expectations and forecasts

  • Liaise with broader Hematology Marketing organization to ensure global alignment around strategic imperatives of Brands, customize global marketing campaigns for the local market, and ensure local needs are within these imperatives

  • Lead interactions with extended stakeholders such as Sales, Medical, Digital Marketing, BI&A, Sales Operation, Training, Finance, VAP and others to make consensus among these team members in any necessary case

  • External (Agencies and 3rd party Vendors)

List of minimum requirements

Knowledge, experiences and education

  • 4 year bachelor's degree required

  • Knowledge/Marketing Expertise in Specialty Care (Hem/Onc is plus)

  • 4+ years of experience with focus on extensive product/brand planning management

  • Post-graduate degrees in Marketing or Business Management is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Commitment to integrity, ethics and compliance

  • Strategic thinking and strong execution with Patient centricity

  • All forms of communication skills, written/verbal, fluent in both Japanese and English

  • Ability to interact and build effective partnerships with customers as well as internal/external key stakeholders

  • Planning, analysis, forecasting, and management reporting skills

  • Experience working cross-functionally and with global team (trans-nationally)

  • Previous product launch experience in pharmaceutical marketing is a plus

  • Previous experience in sales is a plus

  • Keen to adopt innovation and enjoys building new customer experiences via try-and-error
