We help our customers with their journey to the cloud by designing and implementing the optimal infrastructure. Our Nordic Azure Platform Practice which consists of around 40 knowledgeable and highly skilled team members ranging between juniors and seniors. We primarily work with Azure, and we often collaborate with other Practices such as Software Engineering and Analytics that are specialized in different technologies, which opens many learning and development opportunities within other areas of the Microsoft ecosystem. You will be part of a team with high competence where personal development and quality in what we do are key words.

What you'll do

You will deliver technical leadership and architecture on our engagements, provide feedback around the evolution of the solution, shape end-to-end solutions for cloud transformations and partner with the wider business to achieve the desired outcome.

As an Azure Architect at Avanade, you will support in driving client engagements, including but not limited to Azure cloud transformation, application modernization, security identity assessments and workload migration optimization. You are expected to possess architect level expertise on Azure Platform and being able to plan and advice customer stakeholders and technical teams on components, services, and dependencies of Azure services.

As a person, you are committed to the cloud. You are a good communicator with a talent for technology and innovation who really wants to make your customers understand and realize the real benefits of the cloud. We see that you have good command of English and are fluent in Norwegian.

Skills and experiences

To succeed with us, you have a relevant degree and proven experience in designing and architecting applications and solutions on the Microsoft Azure Platform. You have a strong background and technical experience in the Azure environment related to architecting, building, and migrating in the following areas:

• Deep understanding of the latest Azure Infrastructure technologies and emerging trends

• Experience using the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure well architected framework and Enterprise-Scale architecture

• Proficient in automation through ARM / BICEP / Terraform

• Proficient working with tools like Azure DevOps GitHub

• Experience engaging with and advising clients on technical architecture and solutions

• Leadership/management skills on leading teams in technical delivery

You are used to working according to DevOps principles and automation is a matter of course. You have a passion for what you do and a drive to develop yourself as well as your colleagues
