JOB REQUIREMENTS: Utility/Roll Hanger 1st shift - 028083 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Requisition #: 028083 Utility/Roll Hanger 1st shift (Open) Job Description: Start your new career as a Utility / General Labor Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate rack and saw in safe and efficient manner * Responsible for keeping production areas and other defined areas clean and organized * Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50lbs repetitively * Must be able to use and read a tape measure and caliper * Must be able to work at least 8 hour work days 10 hours for 2nd shift * Following all plant safety rules, wearing proper PPE at all times * Attend Line Board Meetings * Must be able to solve problems under pressure * Continue to look for ways to reduce downtime * Work overtime as needed * Perform other duties as assigned * Ensure all products meet the customer and product requirements. * Ensure packaging of finished goods per customer specification. * Accurately fill out production reports on a daily basis. * Be able to read engineering sheets, and make suggestions for improvement. * Perform regular maintenance and preventative maintenance of winder using safe practices and procedures, including Lock-Out / Tag-Out * Fill in on other machines such as but not limited to, the recut area. * Must be able to consistently stack cores on pallets and carts 40 EEO Statement: We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits and opportunity for growth.
