JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Student Union Director (INTERNAL UW SYSTEM SEARCH ONLY) Business Title: Director of the Center for Student Engagement and Campus Life Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: 1.0 Compensation: \$80,000 - \$90,000 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: Limited Appointment Position Summary: This is an internal search that will only consider current UW System employees. Under the supervisory purview of the office of the Dean of Students, the Center for Student Engagement and Campus Life (CSECL) serves as the hub for campus engagement and student involvement experiences. The Director oversees and manages personnel, operations, policy, logistics, and strategic planning for the Center. They direct and provide strategic and administrative leadership for the Student Union and commons buildings in the areas of facilities and operations; student engagement and student organizations; and auxiliary services and partnerships. Responsibilities Job Duties: Directly supervise four (4) student engagement program advisors, a building manager, and an administrative assistant. Support the supervision of additional operations staff. Plans, implements, and assesses major campus events. Serves as advisor to the Oshkosh Student Government. Oversees the hiring, training, and supervision of student staff. Develop, revise, and provide counsel on university policies pertaining to the student organization experience.
