The Senior Operations Engineering Manager is responsible for providing leadership to ensure ongoing process improvement initiatives that deliver excellence across entire value chain. This role is responsible for coordinating and leading facility resources and employees to meet or exceed company business objectives. The Senior Operations Engineering Manager will organize strategic initiatives and utilize enterprise standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Designs and directs the work of the team. Selects, coaches and develops staff. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback and administering progressive discipline when necessary. Create and maintain an organizational culture which encourages innovation, collaboration, excitement/commitment and a sense of urgency toward goals, and continuous improvement. Challenges team members to question the status quo and ensure that all aspects of the design, development and support process are optimal for the industrial/commercial market. Deploys demand driven principals and strategies that supports operational excellence and long range plans.
