Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Job Description

This position involves reading blueprints, performing setups, and operating the brake press machine in the fabrication area. We are a steel supplier that offers various services to meet clients' needs, including bending steel as far along in the process as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints for machine setup and operation.

• Perform setups by putting in the proper tooling and setting the machine.

• Operate the brake press machine in the fabrication area.

• Utilize AS400 (ERP Software) to track production output.

• Ensure precise bending and fabrication of steel parts.

Work Environment

The role is based on the shop floor in the fabrication area, operating the Brake Press. Expect to be on your feet all day in a clean and organized workspace.
