Oshkosh Corporation Finance/Accounting Intern in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

As an Finance/Account intern, you will support the business through completion of various reports and analytical projects. Support operational analysis, sales & marketing analysis, or financial accounting, and helps accomplish critical tasks and implements process improvements.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Finance/Account intern your assignments may include:

  • Assist in monthly close schedule to include but not limited to:

  • Preparation of journal entries.

  • Bank reconciliations.

  • Audit schedules.

  • Cost center reviews.

  • Distribution of business unit packages.

  • Intercompany reconciliations.

  • Census and Department of Labor (DOL) reporting.

  • Assist with the annual budget process.

  • Assist with fixed assets.

  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

  • Assist with unclaimed property

  • All other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sophomore standing or greater working toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Graduation date on or after December 2024

  • Available 20 hours per week during school and full-time during breaks

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Basic Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word knowledge

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
