JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Family Resource Specialist Business Title: Family Resource Specialist Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: .846 Compensation: \$19.65 - \$21.30 per Hour FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Terms of Employment: Fixed Term Terminal Position Summary: This position is required to implement the procedures and activities for families and communities as detailed in the Head Start program performance standards. Particular attention to meeting the standards for eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance (ERSEA), Health, and Family/Community Partnerships. Responsibilities 1. Implement, facilitate and document a program for parents and families, focusing on the Family and Community Partnership Performance Standards. 2. Work cooperatively with all, but specifically ERSEA and Health staff to ensure program goals are met. Qualifications Required: 1. Minimum of AA in Social Work, Human Services or related field. 2. Experience working with young children and their families. 3. Valid state of WI driver\'s license or ability to obtain. 4. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Preferred: 1. Preferred BS in Social Work, Human Services or related field. 2. Experience and knowledge of UW Oshkosh Head Start, Family Service Credential, and general Head Start Experience. 3. Familiarity of ethnic background and heritage of families in the program. Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural issues and local community practices. 4. Skills and knowledge to access appropriate community resources. 5. Experience using the Child Plus data system.
