GLOBAL LEISURE SERVICES LLC Amusement Ride Mechanic in Osage Beach, Missouri

Global Leisure Services, LLC (Osage Beach, MO). 12 F/T Temp. Amusement Ride Mechanics (10/1/2024-5/30/2025). 40 hrs/wk, 7am-4pm; (M-Fri) Saturday work required, if necessary. $16.23/hr (OT-$24.35) paid bi-weekly on Monday. A single work week will be used to compute wages due. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation at the companys sole discretion based on individual factors, including work performance, skill or tenure. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. H-2B application to be concurrently filed with USDOL. DUTIES: Assembly and installation of amusement rides (roller coasters, Ferris wheels, etc.) per the manufacturers specifications for a new amusement and hotel complex. Work at heights with man-lifts and cranes with use and operation of special equipment such as torquing equipment. Mechanical assembly of amusement ride (roller coaster, carousel, drop tower, etc.) structural components such as metal frames, columns, tracks, platforms and ladders. Pre-assembly of steel components with bolted connections for the amusement rides to put together container sized pieces to full component groups. Torquing of bolt and nut connections with hand or electric tools. Work at heights and operation of machinery and special equipment, such as hydraulic torquing. No education req'd, 3 mo. exp. req'd amusement/theme park mechanic or installation. Random and post-accident drug testing may be required post-hire at employer's expense. All tools/supplies req'd, provided at no cost. Daily transportation to/from worksite will be provided to the workers at no charge (e.g. designated daily pick-up place). Worksite: Oasis at Lakeport, New Development at Jeffries Rd. and Davis Dr, Osage Beach, MO 65065, Camden and Miller Counties. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). For certified periods of emp. 120 days or more, employer guarantees work equal to 3/4 of workdays in each 12-wk period of total emp. pd.
