Oversee and support maintenance staff on evening shift. Maintain work schedules of employees to ensure proper coverage to meet customer and business demands Lead and direct all aspects of Safety on shift Plan, maintain and communicate production requirements while providing direction and guidance to employees to achieve planned objectives Ensure that employees are properly trained and have the necessary resources to meet safety, quality and productivity standards and goals Ensure adherence of all employeesto company and plant procedures Provide day shift leaders with updates, communications and solutions for the upcoming day Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing can replace a degree. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead,direct and develop employees to meet business objectives Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills are required Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in the use of personal computers including MS-EXCEL and MS-WORD applications Ability to proactively lead safety initiatives throughout the facility.
