job summary:

As an inventory clerk, you will maintain and update inventory records. Daily responsibilities will include: counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock; compiling balance, price and cost reports; stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise. Plans, executes and documents shipping of all outgoing products − Coordinate all shipments for all locations − Resolves problems relating to transportation and logistics systems − Work with Safety and /compliance to determine necessary food safety controls are in place for inbound and outbound shipments − Create BOL's for all outbound shipments − Monitor policies and procedures for all logistics activities − Maintains metrics, reports, documentation and service logs − Follow schedules of product distribution − Work with carrier(s) and third-party services − Document invoices and payment postings − Correspond with customers; report client requests − Assist logistics coordinator, warehouse specialists, and other team members when needed to meet schedule − Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met − Negotiating with suppliers and vendors, manufactures and retailers − Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages − Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors in the transport chain − All aspects of receiving- inspection, documentation, storage − Supply inventory and ordering, matching all orders to appropriate purchase orders − Update shipping system with rates, surcharges, and service standards − Complex problem solving Logistics Coordinator − High level of organizational skills − Time management − Inform management of ongoing performance issues, provide solution − Comprehension and calculation of pricing − Proficient in MS Office, i.e. Word and Excel

location: Ormond Beach, FL

salary: $17/hr

work hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM

qualifications:

  • up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

skills:

  • Operate RF scanner

  • Load, unload materials & equipment

  • Label deliveries and allocate designated locations

  • Inspect material supplies and inventory

  • Using inventory management software

dress code:

This is I climate controlled environment roughly 42 degrees. close toed slip resistant steel toed shoes must be worn at all times!
