Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Orlando Naval Warfare Center, Florida

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Budget Form Just & Execution Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $122,198- $158,860. Responsibilities You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will interview candidates for positions in the unit, and recommend appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions. You will ensure sound fiscal management by observing and applying STRL position management and classification principles. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommend official performance ratings You will analyze, monitor, and reduce costs, forecast budgets, and provide information to higher level management on future staffing, facility space, and equipment needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Applying concepts, principle, practices, laws and regulations of budgeting and/or financing at a Navy Working Capital Fund activity and their relation to subordinate and senior levels; (2) Providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization programs and activities; (3) Developing and implementing budgetary/financial policies; and (4) Leading, supervising, motivating and counseling employees.
