Lockheed Martin Test Technician Sr in Orlando, Florida

THE WORK

This position is for a production test technician within Production Operations for the Cables and Harness area. We perform production testing in our Orlando facility. Works closely with manufacturing, quality, OETs and support team to ensure the quality of each product.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Working to test procedures to test hardware.

• Testing cables, harnesses and/or lower-level subassemblies.

• Troubleshooting cables, harnesses and/or lower-level subassemblies.

• Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other team members to solve production problems and improve processes.

• Compiles data and helps to define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine the appropriate components and test procedures.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

• Meeting production goals and quotas while maintaining high levels of quality.

WHO YOU ARE

-Provide cable and harnesses that support a variety of missile launcher systems.

-Work with subassemblies for the imaging systems used on the Virginia and Columbia class submarines.

- Maintain racks, cabinets and consoles for controlling Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers and testing avionics onboard Aircraft Carriers.

-Support high fidelity simulators/trainers for the Abrams, F-16, and F-35.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical

- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks, including troubleshooting, and rework.

Desired Skills:

- DITMCO Test

- Continuity/Point to Point Test

- LCAT Test

- Hi-Pot Test

- Functional Tests

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
