Lockheed Martin Subcontract Manager Senior in Orlando, Florida

Description:

You will be the Subcontract Manager Senior supporting the Javelin program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Manager Senior, you will be responsible for subcontract management on the Life Cycle Contractor Sustainment (LCCS) organization, which includes management of the dynamic sustainment supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:

•Working with a cross-functional program team that includes LSE, Engineering, Quality, and Finance

•Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on modified Commercial Off The Shelf and build-to-print subcontracts for DOD efforts.

•Work all aspects of the Procurement process, including Supplier performance indicators, invoices/billings, contract changes, schedule, budgets, funding, verification of delivery, approval of payments, and maintaining necessary records

•Review proposals, select or recommend suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed via JJV procurement system.

•Determine pricing to be fair and reasonable based on technical evaluation, history, market data, or cost element evaluation.

•Operate with a continuous improvement mindset to improve and streamline current Global Supply Chain processes.

This position is located in Orlando, FL Discover Orlando

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience placing and managing fast paced subcontracts

Leading cross-functional program teams in supplier management process

Strong knowledge and experience of Firm Fixed Price and FAR, DFAR contracts

Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated communication skills.

Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations and ability to present effectively to all levels of management

Demonstrated problem solving skills and presentation skills

Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions

Self-motivated, ownership of tasks and accountable

Able to work both independently and in a team environment

Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

Current DoD Secret clearance

Experience with P2P / Cost Point systems

Strong negotiation skills

Experience working Terms and Conditions

Supplier identification experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
