Lockheed Martin Sr Staff Regulatory Compliance Analyst / FAR / DFARS in Orlando, Florida
Description: MFC is seeking a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Analyst for a position in Orlando, FL or Grand Prairie, TX to support MFC by performing reviews of purchase order files to ensure compliance to policies and procedures. Some travel is required. Duties include:
Provide guidance and direction to procurement professionals in support of procurement actions by referencing the FAR, DFARS and Company policies and procedures with emphasis on Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
Support efforts to prepare the SCM operating teams for government conducted Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR), Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) and MCE system reviews and other internal and external audits
Assists other procurement professionals by providing contractual guidance and mentoring and training of less experienced professionals
Interprets federal and state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices and procedures
Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are met
Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
May develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies
May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations
Uses independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues
Interfaces with Business Unit management teams, Legal Department and mid-to senior level corporate management
Ability to advise procurement professionals as they develop moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments
Working to excellent knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies
Working to expert knowledge of contracting concepts, Uniform Commercial Code, applicable public contract acquisition law and regulations, and applicable international contract law
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Good presentation, leadership and team-building skills
Excellent ability to excel in upper level management environment
Experience writing and editing Command Media
Subcontract Administration or Subcontract Management Experience
Experience interfacing with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Audit Agency (DCAA) and internal auditors
Contractor Purchasing System Review Experience
Experience with the Acquisition Compliance Excellence Council
