Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in Orlando, Florida. This role involves handling accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Handling all aspects of account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and addressing any discrepancies

• Carrying out bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are recorded

• Managing the general ledger and ensuring it is updated and accurate

• Preparing and recording journal entries as part of the accounting cycle

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Assisting in month-end close processes to finalize financial records

• Operating NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting functions

• Reviewing and updating financial records and reports regularly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing Industry.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in tasks.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

• Professional certification such as CPA is preferred.
