Siemens Energy Project Financial Analyst / Commercial Project Manager in Orlando, Florida

A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

Our Gas Service organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Financial Analyst / Commercial Project Manager to join our team of CPMs. In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling, reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our project management organization with the main objective of completing the projects according to our contractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financial guidelines.

A strong critical thinking ability and a collaborative approach are critical for success in this role.

HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Fully responsible forall commercial and finance-related matters, including Accounting, Legal, Tax,Foreign Exchange, and NCM topics.

  • Manage and optimizefinancial results with due professional care, including revenue, project grossprofit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.

  • Lead all aspects ofmonthly revenue recognition, contractual invoicing, and ensure compliance withIFRS15, local GAAP, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.

  • Prepare commercialdocumentation for project status meetings, ensuring accuracy in project data,forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting.

  • Ensure accurate cost andpricing calculations, maintain project books and records in systems like SAP,OnePM, and eFMT, and manage financial guarantees, bonds, and securities.

  • Support projectmanagement in risk assessment, non-conformance cost reduction, reportingstructures, and integrating lessons learned into projects and the organization.

WhatYou Bring (requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree orequivalent experience in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting isrequired.

  • 3-8 years ofprofessional experience in Business administration or in Finance, preferablywith experience in Project Management.

  • Strong understanding ofGAAP and IFRS, with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and analytical toolslike Alteryx and Tableau (preferred).

  • Ability to optimallycommunicate financial information to non-financial partners, work in ateam-oriented environment, and lead multiple tasks under pressure to meetdeadlines.

  • Must be able to travelapproximately 5%.

  • Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
