About the role

A Mobile Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems, equipment, vehicles, and grounds across multiple sites. This includes monitoring building system operations, using various trade skills such as welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and heating and cooling. The role requires flexibility in schedule and the ability to work under limited supervision.

What you’ll do

  • Complying with codes, regulations, and directives related to building operations and safety.

  • Performing day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance, as well as reviewing work orders, estimating time and materials, and ordering necessary supplies using a CMMS.

  • Installation and modification of building equipment systems and troubleshoots and repairs various systems such as plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R.

  • Inspect new installations for compliance, be responsible for outside contractors, support energy management programs, and maintain lighting systems.

  • Handle grounds maintenance tasks and perform furniture assembly, welding, carpentry, and locksmith tasks as needed.

  • Respond to emergencies, serving as a mentor to other technicians, reporting daily work activity, and completing assigned duties are also part of the job.

What you’ll need

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks

  • Possess necessary skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck
