Aerotek Maintenance Manager in Orlando, Florida

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager need at a food manufacturing plant in the Orlando area - relocation assistance available. Previous food manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. Looking for individuals that can drive change and very process driven.

Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of technicians and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve operational excellence. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs and procedures to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and optimize overall operational efficiency. Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback for performance evaluations and to ensure a high level of productivity and technical expertise. Must be able to develop mechanics’ skills and/or provide training to further their skill level to improve individual and facility performance. Establish and monitor maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and timely procurement of equipment, tools, and supplies. Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations and maximize equipment uptime. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential improvements. Will also oversee the maintenance of grounds and facilities.

Requirements:

•8+ years in Maintenance, Food/Beverage Manufacturing, Lean/Six-Sigma, Automation, TPM, Conveyors, PLC's, Troubleshooting/Repair, Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical

•Mechanical/Electrical aptitude and experience with machinery upgrades

•Continuous Improvement emphasis and willingness to implement systems and procedures

•Experience with KPI's, CMMS,

•Green belt preferred

•Experience with compressors, boilers, refrigeration and ammonia systems preferred

Travel - 10%
