Signature Aviation Deduction Analyst, Military & DLA in Orlando, Florida

The Deduction Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate management of government contracts, deductions, and billing processes for military and government customers. This role involves maintaining government systems and codes (such as SAM.gov and CAGE codes), analyzing contract pricing, resolving payment issues, and collaborating across multiple departments to provide a high level of customer service. The analyst also leads deduction resolution efforts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributes to process improvements and staff training initiatives.

This position is HYBRID and will be in office in our Orlando HQ.

Customer Service

  • Provide quality, professional customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Respond promptly to disputes or requests, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Collaborate with various departments (Accounting, Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Collections) to resolve customer billing or payment

  • issues.

Government Contract Management

  • Maintain and manage SAM.gov accounts and government CAGE codes.

  • Work with the WAWF system for billing purposes and retrieve payment notifications from the AirCard website.

  • Read, understand, and reconcile government contracts, including comparing bid pricing with actual pricing on contract websites.

Coordination and Analysis

  • Coordinate with the Revenue Management department to prepare bid packages for contracts.

  • Analyze deductions, determine validity, and take appropriate action (credit or rebill invoices).

  • Secure additional information for deduction investigations as necessary.

  • Communicate outcomes and next steps with relevant stakeholders.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Prepare and provide analytical data and reports to Accounting, Management, and other departments (Pricing, Marketing, Sales).

  • Gather and organize backup documents for business and audit purposes.

Special Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Complete special projects as requested by management.

  • Develop and train on new processes and systems, including the creation of DPT (Department Process Training) documents.

Deduction Resolution

  • Manage the deduction resolution process at the customer level, investigating unknown deductions within areas of responsibility.

  • Identify, code, and resolve deductions per established procedures and internal controls.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and controls while processing valid deductions.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent job experience

  • Minimum three years of previous experience in an accounting/office environment in Accounts

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.

  • Experience with SAM.gov, government CAGE codes, and the WAWF system.

  • Familiarity with government contracts and deduction resolution processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, analyze data, and ensure accurate reporting.
