We are on the lookout for a Consolidations Manager to join our team in the Financial Services industry, based in Orlando, Florida. As a Consolidations Manager, you will be instrumental in statutory accounting reporting. This role is a contract employment opportunity that requires a comprehensive understanding of full cycle accounting, roll up consolidations, and US Statutory Insurance accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and oversee statutory accounting operations within the insurance sector.

• Execute financial consolidation roll-ups to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.

• Navigate and utilize various software systems including Intermediate Excel, Hyperion, Peoplesoft, and SAP for daily tasks.

• Implement and adhere to IFRS 17 practices and International standard experience.

• Oversee and manage one direct report, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.

• Handle US and Bermuda financial roll-ups in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with CRM, Epic Software, and ERP Solutions

• Experience with About Time software

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions and Budget Processes

• High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred

• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
