Lockheed Martin CMM Programmer Senior - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is seeking a CMM Programmer Senior for our Machining Operations Center in Orlando, FL. This position requires experience generating inspection processes, programming CMMs, and determining part acceptance.

The Sr. CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer:

Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.

Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.

Leads and / or participates on Material Review Boards, Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations.

Identifies root cause of complex issues and ensures effective corrective / preventive action to improve processes.

Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.

Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.

Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.

Basic Qualifications:

-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies)

-Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)

-Experience with CMM programming, fixturing, and tooling

-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues

-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications

Desired Skills:

-Experience programming Zeiss (Calypso) and / or LK CMMs

-Experience in GD&T

-Experience with automated processes and robotic technologies

-Experienced in reviewing tool designs

-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

-SAP Application experience

-Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
