Description

Orlando company is looking for an Accountant II. Responsibilities of the Accountant II will include, but not limited to the following.

-- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries.

-- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations.

-- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

-- Assist in the preparation of budget-to-actual reports and variance analyses.

-- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. GAAP) and relevant regulations.

-- Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with both internal and external auditors.

-- Utilize accounting software to maintain financial data and generate reports.

-- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial systems.

-- Work closely with managers and supervisors to provide financial guidance and support.

-- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective financial operations.

-- Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

-- Assist in the implementation of new financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience.

• Analytical problem solving skills.

• Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
