The Role:

The individual selected for this position will work closely alongside a talented group of Delinquent Account Specialists. Due to the collaborative nature of this growing team, this position comes with “loads” of support and is an excellent opportunity for professional growth. This role provides exposure to various aspects of Customer Service, Collections, Contracts, and Batch Processing. 

General Duties Include:

  • Investigating Client Accounts flagged as Inactive with or without Shortfall

  • Calling and emailing Clients to discuss inactivity and shortfall

  • Conducting investigations and research into Client Accounts

  • Assisting clients as they transition their account back into compliance

  • Negotiating repayment plans with clients on deficient accounts

  • Analyzing open AR and resolving collection issues

  • Communicating with various intercompany departments

    What you bring to the table:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

  • Able to maintain composure in difficult situations

  • A talent for de-escalation, comfortable having difficult conversations with clients regarding unpaid balances or credit reporting

  • Sound judgement and strong negotiation skills   Must be persistent and have a basic  understanding of skip tracing tools  

  • Problem solver, accurate, outside box thinker

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Able to focus and work both independently and collaboratively

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills  

  • Accountable with a high standard of excellence

  • Strong intuition as it pertains to detecting fraudulent client patterns, behaviours, or dubious claims

    Please note that the role of Delinquent Account Specialist will require in-office presence, and that this role cannot be occupied remotely.
