As a Green Coffee and Sensory Operation Quality Manager (H/F/D) , you will lead the Operation Quality role managing a team of quality specialists and technicians located in our 3 factories, to ensure release process related to raw materials and factory labs results & performance are managed in adherence to all internal and external relevant standards in a key area for Nespresso and our consumers.

In this position you will have the opportunity to be in close contact with factory and supply chain and operations functions, as well as with Nespresso R&D and will lead Quality controls around green coffee , and sensory for our operations in our 3 production centers.

You will be the guardian of quality, compliance and control performance in this area, and you will ensure first time rights deliverables and continuous improvement with your team and European suppliers.

A day in the life of a Green Coffee and Sensory Operation Quality Manager (H/F/D)

  • Manages his/her team to deliver results accurate and in time and across the 3 Nespresso factories

  • Lead green coffee release process and non-conformity management

  • Manage factory sensory panels, Quality control plan (QMS) and related IT systems

  • Develop and implement QMS, Define required Quality standards, Quality control plans and SOP. Support their implementation with production centers while providing training, coaching and audit.

  • Lead and follow up with improvement projects

  • Lead sensory and Keeping Quality tests, Support Sensory SL validation of new products

  • Leads problem solving methodology with the aim of implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement

  • Ensure Compliance in the frame of his/her projects with internal and external standards.

  • Run suppliers Quality audits and assessment

  • Follows and promote safety, health, environmental and hygiene standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

What would make you successful

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in management in relevant industry (food, pharmaceutical, etc.)

  • Engineer’s degree in a relevant field

  • Experience or strong interest in the field of Quality

  • Ideally experienced in Quality Sensory

  • Engineer’s degree in a relevant field

  • Significant exposure management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill

  • Fluency in French and English
