Production Manager

Job Description

As a Production Manager, your role would be to ensure a healthy and safe working environment compliant with OHSA and other government regulations. You will be responsible for creating an engaging atmosphere for employees, facilitating decision-making in line with our guidelines and corporate culture. You will also manage labor and hours per ESA and company procedures, and ensure product compliance with customer requirements. You will coordinate and set up our continuous improvement system, support operational teams, and develop the skills and knowledge of all employees. Your role will also include communicating business process improvements to employees and maintaining production-related documentation. You will collaborate with technical operations and capital planning teams to monitor new projects, and work with the Purchasing Manager to coordinate production needs. Participation in the Health and Safety committee and other meetings is also expected.

Job Requirements

• 5-7 years' production management experience in manufacturing

• ERP System experience (JDE & Siteline)

• Continuous Improvement experience

• Financial planning
