Honeywell Sr Mfg Process Trainer in Orange, Texas

As a Site Trainer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering training to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. Your expertise in training methodologies and instructional design will contribute to the professional growth and success of our workforce. You will report directly to our Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our Orange, TX location. In this role, you will impact the organization by designing and delivering engaging training sessions, workshops, and webinars. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions. Your ability to effectively communicate and engage with employees will ensure the successful implementation of training programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and improve the Orange Site training and learning programs by facilitating individual training requirements for site personnel

  • Conduct new hire orientation for all incoming personnel

  • Ensures training programs and processes comply with all regulatory and Honeywell standards

  • Responsible for coordinating with corporate Learning and Development to manage and upload required trainings for site personnel in Learning Hub and is the site administrator for Learning Hub

  • Conduct audits to ensure training practices are in accordance with Honeywell policies

  • Training lead point of contact/resource for all internal/external audits (such as OSHA Process Safety Management, HSE, RC14001, ISO9001, etc.)

  • Partner with department leaders to develop content for site/department specific and general training, including video when appropriate

  • Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to ensure all training plans and cross training requirements are understood and implemented in support of a high-performance culture

  • Maintain, update, and audit the site personnel progression process in partnership with the Extended Leadership Team (FLS)

  • Ensures that training, including procedure integrity, is consistent, up to date, and effective – including field evaluations

  • Manages plant qualification process for operators to ensure progress and proficiency in all designated plant areas

  • Maintain all training files for site departments

  • Reviews and approves training plan and verifies completion for all site MOCs in Intelex database

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training methodologies

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies and instructional design in a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
