Utility Person | $15+/hr. DOE

Full time rotating schedule – 2p-12a

An established catering company in the Orange City, IA area is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Restaurant Utility Worker to join their team. The Utility Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, ensuring that all areas, including the kitchen and dining spaces, are kept in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the restaurant staff by helping with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

• Greet customers and complete customer transactions.

• Assist in food preparation and assist kitchen staff as needed.

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes using appropriate cleaning methods.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storage spaces, and dishwashing areas.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
