Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineer who will be part of the RAC Engineering organization in Danfoss, and will report to the local Engineering Manager. This position will also be part of the RAC Global Product Compliance Team

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with experts and update of DCS Standards matrix on periodical basis

  • Recommend segment monitor responsible where needed

  • Assess together with experts on the impact of the directive/standard on its Product line (PL)

  • Facilitate Compliance projects as RAC - BU contact person

  • Facilitate product compliance improvements in RAC

  • Ensure competence mapping per Internal standards and Recommend trainings where needed

  • Represent Danfoss India at BIS as a section committee member at MED03

  • Review/ Comment/ Vote on the amendments made to IS/ISO/IEC standards

  • Actively participate in section committee and Panel meetings.

  • Monitor/ influence updates on the standards, align with global experts and share comments as needed.

  • Actively participate in Certification and Surveillance Audits for compliance. Align with quality team and coordinate certificate updating along with project team

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with certification as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001/ IATF will be an advantage

  • Minimum 812 years’ experience with managing Product Compliance

  • Proficient in Product and performance standards in India, Europe, USA, ISO and IEC

  • Exposure to PED, UL, FM, Marine Certifications is a plus
