Pay Range: $95,000.00 -135,000.00

Summary

Work on advanced and complex technical projects concerning business process optimization for transportation and robotic equipment manufacturers utilizing state-of-the-art technical and industry knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Research, analyze, and suggest changes to business processes.
  • Collect and study operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service and profitability.
  • Participate in cross-functional activities and working sessions during project design and implementation phases.
  • Develop process documentation and project plans, including flowcharts, process maps, diagrams, training materials and communications to support new processes. Monitor project costs, milestones and deliverables.
  • Propose, review, and modify project plans, timelines, and milestones as necessary. Deliver training to impacted business units.
  • Visit client sites to consult on project goals, deliverables, and oversee implementation, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field and eight (8) years of experience in project management (will also accept one (1) year of such experience for each missing year of bachelors degree-level education).
  • Must have eight (8) years of prior experience in/with:leading support functions related to Production Operations and implementing ISO standards; financial analysis, including providing reports and analysis of financial position and forecasts and developing and implementing strategic plans; applying principles and practices of project management, personnel management; and administration.
  • Must have five (5) years of prior experience in/with:coordinating proposals for product and process solutions and optimizations; analyzing work processes and evaluating improvement measures concerning manufacturing quality, cost, ergonomics, environment sustainability and operating safety; establishing and monitoring project related key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Must have three (3) years of prior experience in/with:defining and implementing strategies to support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement; identifying root cause of project problems and implementing corrective action.
  • Domestic travel required 10% of the time to visit client sites.
