ZRS is currently looking for a Sr Property Risk Consultant, who has experience with Large Property.

Reporting to the VP of Large Property, you will be both an Account Coordinator and Field Representative supporting multiple accounts. You will be responsible to work with our underwriting partners to manage Zurich’s Property portfolio’s risk quality, support selected customer risk control programs, coordinate and conduct site risk assessments, develop account analysis and coordinate stewardship meetings, following Zurich global technical standards as well as recognized national/international codes.

What you will do

• Assesses the quality of complex risks, mainly for key/strategic assets, as described in the Zurich Resilience Solutions Standard(s) and related competency level for Large Property Clients.

• Assesses loss potentials in accordance with agreed definitions.

• Supports external customers by identifying, assessing and reducing the risks that their key / strategic assets face and on an overall account basis.

• Provide appropriate risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations (including both trend and root cause analysis), and implement risk improvement programs.

• Communicates effectively with field risk engineers and nurtures relationships with Underwriting partners, brokers, industry consultants, professional organizations, and approval authorities.

• Develops Customer Service Plan for coordinated accounts that drive efficient field service.

• Ensures the delivery and quality of services to the account, ensures consistency of assessments, risk improvement advice, reporting and time & expense management across the account.

• Explores new service area opportunities, develops new customer services and identifies areas for cross-selling.

• Meets realistic expectations of customers and Underwriting.

• Manages change within the account by keeping in close contact with customer management and business partners, reviewing new projects and plans for change.

What you bring to the table:

Job Qualifications

Required:

•Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Property.

OR

•High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Property.

OR

•Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Property.

AND

• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Advanced knowledge of industrial hazards and controls.

• Experience working in a team environment.

Preferred :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil, or related degree.

• Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.

• Account management experience as a Risk Services consultant with middle market or large customers property lines of business and programs.

• Strong communication and results-oriented consultative skills.

•Outstanding collaboration skills.
