Responsibilities Follow all safety policies and procedures Report all accidents and/or injuries immediately to Safety Manager Quality control for manufactured block Preventative maintenance and routine repairs as assigned Follow policies for plant inspection Assist with productions orders effectively and efficiently as assigned Inventory control, ensure inventory is secured, stored and only accessible to the associates in accordance with company guidelines Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the production facility Cleans plant using shovel and broom, and performs other duties as assigned Willing to train the right candidate

Basic Qualifications Effective oral and written communications in English. Ability to do basic math in all units of measure Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to lift and carry up to an approximate weight of 50 pounds, although not limited to 50 pounds Ability to frequently bend, stoop and reach in order complete production and maintain a clean work area. Ability to climb a ladder or step up to access overhead areas Ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours (short breaks provided throughout the shift) Computer literate block production software experience helpful although not necessary Knowledge of block production operations
