Dental HygienistPart time/Hourly/Non-ExemptOneonta, NY, USRequisition ID: 5331Salary Range: $38.10 To 38.10 HourlySummary of Position Functions: Assists the Dentist with direct primary care dental services to the students.Schedule: Tuesday 5-Hour Day, Thursday 5-Hour Day (10-Hour Work Week, Each Week)Major Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preliminary oral examinations for studentsExamine, scale and polish teethEducate students on good oral hygiene and provide other preventative dental care servicesMonitor the condition of, and sterilize the dental equipment Conduct the weekly Dental Education/Orientation Program for students in their first week of the Career Preparation PeriodSchedule all new student intakes for their 45/75-day T2 Dental ExamsConduct triage of sick calls and schedule off center dental visits in the absence of the Dentist.Organize and facilitate monthly Student Wellness Committee MeetingsNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
