Your role and responsibilities

A senior machine learning engineer typically designs, develops, and implements machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems. They work with large datasets to train and validate models, ensuring they perform accurately and efficiently. This role will require an active Top Secret TS/SCI clearance.

Their responsibilities often include:

• Provide technology support required to promote and execute the adoption of data and AI technology, methodologies, and best practices; support command data and AI initiatives; and facilitate implementation of data and AI capabilities in the Command Lab Environment

• Work as part of team to develop advanced data science algorithms like predictive analysis, ML algorithms, AI and other data science methods to build and apply warfighter analytic solution sets

• Assist in the design of machine learning systems by researching and implementing appropriate ML algorithms and tools

• Develop requirements-based ML applications to advance capabilities

• Run machine learning tests and experiments

• Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.
