Responsibilities

$20,000 Sign on Bonus

Up to $10,000 Education Assistance Available

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgery.

Assist the surgical team in various procedures by providing instruments, supplies, and necessary equipment.

Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.

Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia, and overall well-being during surgery.

Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care instructions.

Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.

Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.

Qualifications

Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse preferred.

BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications through American Heart Association after 5 months.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
