BASIC PURPOSE : The Recruiting Coordinator provides support to a variety of Recruiting and HR teams by executing various administrative and operational related activities. As a recruiting coordinator, this individual will be responsible for helping to provide an amazing candidate journey and be the expert in the organization’s hiring processes, procedures, and tools.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide robust support in the recruitment process by conducting phone screens, completing reference checks, extending job offers, interview coordination between candidates and upper level management

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for interviews.

  • Oversee and manage background check process for positions as well as collaborate with other HRteam members.

  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with candidates throughout the hiring process and afterwards.

  • Assist in Affirmative Action outreach and processes for all positions.

  • Opens and manages job requisitions in applicant tracking system.

  • Post jobs to internal and external career sites.

  • Attend recruiting events and career fairs.

  • Manage recruiting calendar events (team meetings, trainings, etc.).

  • Work within applicant tracking system and MS Excel to track and report on various organizational data.

  • Manage outside vendor relationships.

  • Assist with staffing contracts and communicating with staffing agencies.

  • Act as an additional point person for candidate inquiries to ensure the candidate experience represents our brand.

  • Assist with Onboarding of new hires: background facilitation, New Hire and First Day emails, and I9 verification.

  • Assist with any recruiting or HR related projects.

  • Assist with handling the approval process and any related questions for the employee referral program.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • High-school diploma required.

  • Experience:

  • Administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Previous experience working with an applicant tracking system preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of calls and emails.

  • Ability to manage 100+ emails daily.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, exceptional interpersonal skills, with interest in building relationships and fostering a collaborative team environment, , keen attention to detail, organized with ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting, , general administrative office skills (I.E scheduling, email correspondence, HR database and file management) , exhibit a professional demeanor, must be able to work successfully with people at all levels of the organization and external customers, ability to multitask, and a team player.

  • Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
