Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role calls for a highly organized individual who will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer credit records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications in a prompt and accurate manner

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records, ensuring all information is accurate and easily accessible

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly, identifying any issues or potential problems

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, adhering to company policy and regulations

• Utilize various accounting software systems, including Great Plains, IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel, to perform job duties effectively

• Understand and implement collection processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy

• Use Accurint to aid in the collection process

• Perform billing functions as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Accurint

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform Billing Functions

• Understanding of Collection Processes

• Experience as a Collector

• Knowledge of Credit processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills
