The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking a Sr Level manager to lead a Bombers Sustainment portfolio and team. This role will focus on overseeing the development, execution and sustainment of several hardware and software programs as well as support ICS contracts on the Bombers Sustainment Platforms. This Sr Program Manager will be responsible for working across multiple functions to drive up productivity, reduce cycle time of proposal responses to the customer and increase overall customer satisfaction across multiple customer sites. This leader will be responsible for driving the strategy of increasing aircraft availability through additional opportunities to support USAF. This position could also be expected to act as a backup to the Executive Director of the Bombers Sustainment Portfolio to ensure all programs (B-1, B-2 and ALCM) are being managed and sustained effectively.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience in project or program management

  • 10+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met

  • Experience working with comparable Bomber platform

  • Experience with USAF and management of large suppliers

Average Pay Summary: $147,050-$198,950
