As our Handling Assembly Technician, you will support the Assembly and Machining departments. On a given day, you may: Assemble material handling equipment according to required specifications. Assemble or fabricate handling equipment parts and pieces using a variety of hand tools and equipment. Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints for assembly. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets standard. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Operating CNC Router and Manual machines Forklift operation (optional – training required) We are looking for: High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of assembly experience Strong mechanical work history and tool knowledge Regularly lift 30-50 lbs. Experience in reading and understanding assembly blueprints (preferred) Machining experience, CNC or Manual (preferred, but not required) Using measurement tools (calibers, micrometers) Safety oriented mindset Teamwork and collaboration skills Demonstration of JBT core values High level of attention to detail Basic Math Skills Travel & Location: This position is onsite at our Eastlake, OH facility.
