The Goddard School is looking for a visionary leader whose passion is contagious and who will continue to support excellence and innovation from our dedicated and vibrant faculty.Brief Job DescriptionThe Dean of the Goddard School will serve as an academic leader for the school within a university environment that fosters collaboration and shared governance. The Dean will also act as the holder of the Vernon M. and MaRee Buehler Leadership Chair,with an accompanying stipend and responsibilities to serve as a highly visible and respected presence locally,nationally and internationally; to be engaged in significant civic and academic events; to bring noted business and economic leaders to the WSU campus; and to lead in the internationalization of the Goddard School and its curriculum,among other responsibilities. In addition to supporting the Goddard School s academic mission,the Dean will lead enrollment and reaffirmation of accreditation efforts. As a member of the university leadership team,the Dean will work collaboratively with the Office of Academic Affairs and other academic colleges. The Dean will also be expected to work closely with the Office of Advancement in fundraising efforts and will play a key role in relationship development with alumni and donors.
